Voodoo Tours & Divination
Effective Date: JANUARY 1st 2026
1. Agreement
By booking or participating in any journey, retreat, or service offered by Voodoo Tours & Divination (“the Company”), you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.
These Terms apply to all experiences, including:
• 1-Day Journey – Introduction
• 3-Day Journey – Immersion
• 7-Day Journey – Transformation
• 8-Day Exclusive Healing Retreat
• Day of the Masks Festival Journey
• Private and customized bookings
2. Booking & Payment
2.1 Deposits
A non-refundable deposit of 30% is required to secure your booking.
Your place is not confirmed until the deposit has been received.
2.2 Final Payment
The remaining balance must be paid no later than 30 days before arrival, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
If final payment is not received on time, the Company reserves the right to cancel the booking without refund of the deposit.
2.3 Currency
All prices are listed in Euros (€) unless otherwise stated.
3. Cancellations & Refund Policy
3.1 Participant Cancellation
• More than 45 days before arrival: Deposit retained, remainder refunded.
• 30–45 days before arrival: 50% of total amount retained.
• Less than 30 days before arrival: No refund.
This policy exists due to preparation, accommodation commitments, and community coordination.
3.2 Company Cancellation
If the Company cancels a journey due to insufficient participants, force majeure, or unforeseen circumstances:
• Participants may transfer to a future date, or
• Receive a refund of payments made (excluding third-party expenses already incurred).
The Company is not responsible for external travel costs such as flights.
4. Health & Personal Responsibility
Participants acknowledge that:
• These journeys involve travel, ritual participation, and cultural immersion.
• Some experiences may be emotionally or spiritually intense.
• Participation is voluntary at all times.
You are responsible for:
• Disclosing relevant medical or psychological conditions.
• Ensuring you are physically and mentally fit for participation.
• Holding appropriate travel insurance (mandatory).
The Company is not liable for personal health issues arising during or after participation.
5. Travel & Insurance
Participants must:
• Arrange their own international flights.
• Obtain appropriate visas (if required).
• Hold comprehensive travel insurance covering:
• Medical treatment
• Emergency evacuation
• Trip cancellation
• Personal belongings
Proof of insurance may be requested.
6. Cultural Respect & Conduct
Participants agree to:
• Respect local customs, traditions, and spiritual practices.
• Follow guidance provided by facilitators and hosts.
• Refrain from disruptive, disrespectful, or inappropriate behavior.
The Company reserves the right to remove a participant without refund if their conduct endangers the group or disrespects community practices.
7. Nature of Services
All spiritual and ritual services are offered within a cultural and traditional context.
The Company does not:
• Guarantee specific spiritual outcomes.
• Provide medical or psychological treatment.
• Replace professional healthcare or therapy services.
Experiences are offered for personal growth and cultural engagement.
8. Liability Limitation
The Company is not responsible for:
• Delays, accidents, or losses caused by third parties.
• Political events, weather conditions, or force majeure.
• Personal belongings lost or stolen.
Participation is undertaken at the participant’s own risk.
9. Photography & Media
Photography during ceremonies may be restricted.
By participating, you agree that:
• The Company may use non-sensitive images for promotional purposes.
• You may opt out in writing before the journey begins.
Sacred rituals may not be photographed without explicit permission.
10. Force Majeure
The Company is not liable for failure to perform services due to events beyond reasonable control, including:
• Natural disasters
• Political unrest
• Health emergencies
• Government restrictions
• Travel bans
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the Republic of Benin.
12. Amendments
The Company reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. The version in effect at the time of booking applies to your journey.
